Lee County Black History Society, in partnership with the Dunbar Festival and the S.T.A.R.S. Complex, are excited to announce our annual Juneteenth Celebration. This festive celebration will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roberto Clemente Park, 1936 Henderson Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33916. Hello LCBHS Member, Please join us for our upcoming Quarterly Membership Social, “Fort Myers History Under the Spotlight,” on Friday, April 4th, 5:30- 7:00 pm. We will feature FMPD’s first Black female sergeant, Ms. Yvetta Dominique. This event promises a memorable evening of history. Light refreshments will be served. The Lee County Black History Society welcomes new members and strongly encourages our existing members to renew their membership.
