Bridging the Gap Center for the Arts is committed to providing an imaginative and innovative space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) artists to learn, grow, and explore the creative arts through live performance, education, place making, storytelling and community connectivity.

CARSS (Celebrating and Recognizing Student Success) Program:

CARSS is designed to recognize and celebrate the success and achievement of students within the School District of Lee County in Mathematics, Reading, Science, Social Studies, Writing, and/or Community Service. The program encourages, motivates, and emboldens students to strive to be all they can be. CARSS aims to identify, inspire, and celebrate students who go above and beyond expectations to improve themselves and the community in which they live. CARSS is a partnership initiative with the Lee County Black History Society, Inc. and Ms. Contance White-Davis to support students and schools in the School District of Lee County .
