On Saturday, May 18th, the Lee County Black History Society will present "Commemorating the 159th Anniversary of Emancipation." This celebration will be held at: Quality Life Center of SWFL 3210 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33916 11:00 am to 1:00 pm The event will feature live musical performances, monologues, and dance. Light refreshments will be served. The program is free to the public, but reservations are required.
