With over 16 years of executive leadership experience in the corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors, Monika is a trailblazer in community empowerment, strategic development, and transformational leadership.
Her Vision for the Lee County Black History Society
As the Executive Director, Monika is committed to preserving, celebrating, and expanding the impact of Black history in Lee County and beyond. Under her leadership, the Society is focused on:
✔️ Expanding Educational Programs to bring Black history into classrooms and empower future leaders
✔️ Building Stronger Community Partnerships to foster collaboration and economic growth
✔️ Enhancing the Museum & Cultural Spaces to ensure that our history is preserved and shared for generations
✔️ Strengthening Donor & Membership Engagement to sustain and grow our mission
