This event, presented by Florida Southwestern State College, Lee County Black History Society, Inc, and The Center for Undergraduate Research and Creativity is an Art Exhibition, will feature live performances, student presentations, Tara Calligan-speaker, Behind the Research with Kat Epple and a reception each day. On Saturday, May 18th, the Lee County Black History Society will present "Commemorating the 159th Anniversary of Emancipation." This celebration will be held at: Quality Life Center of SWFL 3210 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33916 11:00 am to 1:00 pm The event will feature live musical performances, monologues, and dance.
