On Saturday, May 18th, the Lee County Black History Society will present "Commemorating the 159th Anniversary of Emancipation." This celebration will be held at: Quality Life Center of SWFL 3210 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33916 11:00 am to 1:00 pm The event will feature live musical performances, monologues, and dance. Lee County Black History Society, in partnership with the Dunbar Festival and the S.T.A.R.S. Complex, are excited to announce our annual Juneteenth Celebration. This festive celebration will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roberto Clemente Park, 1936 Henderson Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
